JERICHO tells the story of the residents of Jericho, Kansas, a small town in the MidWestern United States. When the unimaginable happens and twenty-three nuclear bombs are detonated on US soil, the future of our nation begins to be rewritten, and the town of Jericho is cut off from the outside world. On the brink of a second American Civil War, Jake Green, Robert Hawkins and a few brave residents of the town may be the only people standing in the way of a corrupt new government that was actually responsible for the attacks.
It was not long ago that JERICHO debuted as a prime time series on CBS and captured the imagination of millions of fans. When the series was canceled after the first season, there was such a fan outcry that after many letters, phone calls (and 40,000 pounds of mixed nuts) bombarded the CBS offices, the show was back on the air. Unfortunately due to various reasons, including the notorious writer's strike that swept film and television, the series didn't last - but the fan demand for JERICHO did!
Now the story is finally continuing as a six issue monthly comic book miniseries beginning in October 2009 from Devil's Due Publishing. Co-written by the show's actual writers and creators, the story of JERICHO lives on.
